I told you about our three garbage bin system a few days ago. We have a green one for general waste, brown for garden waste and blue for plastics - with a wee black one for glass.
Well here they are in all their inverted glory!
From April 8th 2007 I will be posting a daily photograph to this blog on the theme of waste and waste management. Despite huge advances in recycling the figures show that most of what we throw away still ends up in landfill sites. It's not just garbage; we also make a good job of wasting power, fresh water and fossil fuels. I am going to take this opportunity to illustrate the issues as I see them.

Wow! That's a gorgeous result. I love the leaning perspective they all have. Makes me feel they are gathering round for some kind of team talk. Nice work.
I am glad we don't have to have so many bins in our back yard. We wouldn't have the space!
